Adventure to the Asheville Art Museum.

This past Friday, I went to the Asheville Art Museum for our Project 5. I went and saw Eva Zeisel’s The Shape of Life. I had a great time. Her work was amazing. Eva Zeisel was born in Hungary in 1906. She was the first woman at the Royal Academy to learn the craft of ceramics. She has had a very successful life. She takes advantage of the softness of the clay. She had ceramics, glass objects, and a table that she designed. I had never been in an art museum when I was really able to appreciate it. I really enjoyed going and just spending time in almost another world. It was very relaxing. I have added a couple pieces of her artwork. I used the guidelines that we used in our library session to describe the artwork I saw. I wrote a formal description on either six or seven pieces. I have it all written down in my notebook. I will be making a powerpoint soon.

More Environmental Intervention

Here is some more of my environmental intervention. It was so pretty outside today..almost like a Spring Day. I decided that I would take some more pics for my project. First is just branches that I stuck inside the cracks of the wall. Second, I took some sort of shells that I found and spelled out "WCU". Third, I just wrote "Hello" in the dirt with a rock. Fourth, I took rocks that I found and made a goal post with a football going through. TD-Touch down! That was in honor of the Super Bowl tonight. Fifth, I took some branches and made art. Last, I took some bigger rocks and placed them on the poles.
